August 2011 - All Day Films
Earlier this summer, Humanoid Wakeboards, gave All Day Films the opportunity of a lifetime. Inviting All Day Films to come out to Lake Powell, Arizona and live on a house boat for a week of filming and riding. During a discussion with el Captain from Humanoid, Joel Hilliard and owner Jeff Hartman, we agreed to create a webisode series called, “Feed the Machine“.
Each webisode will briefly highlight company happenings and riding footage from trips. It will give the audience some insight into the brand and the riders behind it. Look for Episode 1 to drop soon – first stop, Lake Powell will be premiered via web-streaming and FREE for all fans! I mean, who wants to pay for videos these days anyways? Premier date will be posted on alldayfilms.com shortly!
Eddie Valdez, Bob Sichel, Kyle Schmidt, Benjamin Christensen, Ryan Bezemek, Mitch Bergsma, Mark Rugala, and last but not least… Tino Santori.
Filmers/Photographers: Kyle McGroary and Brian Rowe
First Episode will include music provided by:
Adam Weeks decided to drive his Subaru Impreza down the scenic nature path towards the boat launch. He began Give’er hard driving down the path when his wheels became a little too squirely and nearly missed a tree. The scene soon turned into an “unsafe” situation and called for a safety meeting to recoup what had just happened. We got the call from our friends down in Wake Nation Cincinnati informing us that they were renting lights for some “after hours” night riding.
Jon Mollema from Shortstackmedia and the AllDayFilms crew teamed up and got the day started around 9am and filmed until at least 1am in the morning. That is what I call dedication! Given this opportunity, we decided to make the most of our trip and shredded until our hands became one big calus.
Here is a simple tutorial for all of you out there who enjoy the simple melodies of dubstep music and would like produce your own. More Wake videos coming soon, enjoy!
